Driver 1 wins 2 and Driver 2 wins 1, therefore Driver 1 is the Point Score winner.

Based on 4 races over a full season the new Point Score would be calculated as following – 2 scenarios listed and one with a tie placing result, converting to the next method used.

Scenario 1
Driver 1

Driver 2

Driver 1 wins based on 1st place winnings.

Scenario 2

As both competitors have placed 1st in 2 events each, then 2nd in 2 events each (over the 4 events), this then falls to the second calculation method of best average speed over all races.  Total average speed over 4 events.
In this scenario Driver 2 has the fastest average speed and is the Point Score winner.
